Wayne Carl Jones of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away November 14, 2022 at the age of 70 years. Wayne is survived by his former partner Cathy and family, sister Patricia (Mark) Kinahan, brothers Doug (Marilee) and Randy (Barb) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Wayne was pre-deceased by his parents, Arnold and Edna Jones.

Wayne spent many years of his life “on the road again” trucking across Canada and into the U.S., always finding new adventures and driving challenges.

At Wayne’s request, a private family memorial will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the McAuley Lodge in Edmonton and also the Royal Alexandra Hospital 6 East Unit for the kindness and care Wayne recently received.

Donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or the Alberta Lung Association.
