With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Broen at the age of 68. He passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2026.

Mourning his loss are his wife of 36 years Tracey; his daughters Natasha (James) and Katrina (Brandon); grandchildren Frankie, Isla, Ava and Lincoln; extended family and cherished friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Society of Canada, whose resources helped him remain at home — where he most wanted to be.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Bardo Lutheran Church, 5609 48 St., Tofield, AB.
