Marie Jacobson

Marie Jacobson of Ryley, AB, passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 85 years.

Marie loved her children dearly and raised them to know God and to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus. They all went to Sunday School and Church.

She had some dear friends that moved to Florida so when she had her vacation time where she worked as a secretary for the school principal, she took her family to spend time with those special friends.

With Kathy and Sue moved out on their own and Timothy finished with school, they moved to Florida. Marie worked for United World Missions and attended Northside Baptist Church. This where she met Ivan, the love of her life. They married on November 22, 1986 and came back to Canada to the farm.

Marie was a great help on the farm. She enjoyed driving the tractor, planting big gardens where she spent a lot of time in and loved and cared for Ivan’s Mother.

Marie will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Ivan and her family, relatives and friends.

A private family funeral service will be held.
