Johnny’s family sadly announces his passing on July 17, 2025.
Born on May 11, 1936, on the Tofield family farm, Johnny was a life-time cowboy with a handshake as good as gold. He enjoyed rodeo, country living, and socializing with friends. Johnny will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary Ann, his children Cathy and Ted (Debbie), his stepchildren; Owen and Peri (Glen), 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four sisters; Sal, Evvie, Eedie and Deed.
On behalf of the family we would like to thank the staff at Heritage House in Vegreville for their devoted care of Johnny and most especially would like to thank Chef Dennis for wonderful homemade daily meals.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Tofield Community Church, 4619-57 Ave.
Memorial donations may be made to the Tofield Historical Society.
