John Steven Panas 

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Panas at the Royal Alexandra Hospital on December 15, 2025 at the age of 86 years.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Jeannette, daughter Laurie, son Marcel, one grandchild Alexander and numerous relatives and friends. He will also be greatly missed by his fuzzy grandchildren Hercules and Leo (Laurie). 

He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Anna Panas, father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Rose Marko, brother Paul, sister Helen, sister-in-law Theresa, brother-in-law Harry Balko and one grandchild baby Andrew (Alexander's twin brother).

A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Weber Funeral Chapel (2 Mount Pleasant Drive) Camrose.

A Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 22, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (3605-50 St.) in Camrose, Alberta. Cremation will follow with inurnment at Valleyview Cemetery in Camrose at a later date.

If you so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital or charity of your choice.
