We are heartbroken to share that our beloved mother, Jo-Ann Rene (Snydal) Slifka, passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 73.

She was a devoted mother to her three children: Alicia (John) Jarvis, Angela (Dallas) Toth, and Johnathon (Reena) Slifka; and a proud grandmother to four grandchildren. She is survived by her loving sister, Shelly (Darren) Penney. Jo-Ann was predeceased by her parents, Hafsten “Steini” Snydal and Helen Hazel Snydal-Gregoire (Todoruk), and her sister, Kathy (Bill) Collins.

Jo-Ann lived in Lloydminster for almost 40 years and spent much of her time thrifting. Her strength and love will be forever remembered.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
