It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Janette Rudzcki at the age of 59 years on December 22, 2025.
Born on July 29th, 1966 in Tofield, she is survived by her sister Sandra (Gerry) Ralph and her brother Barry (Kelly) Rudzcki, brother-in-law Ed and her nieces Karly and Alyssa Stefiszyn. Janette was predeceased by her father Victor, mother Sylvia, and her sister Judy.
Janette lived a quiet, thoughtful life, marked by kindness and a deep love for those around her. Though solitary by nature, she cared deeply for people and shared close, meaningful bonds with her small circle of friends and her beloved family. Janette loved to garden and she also found great joy in animals (her critters) and in the quiet peace of farm life she cherished so much. An avid reader, Janette could often be found with a book in hand or happily working through a crossword. Janette was also an excellent cook and found great joy in cooking for others. Gentle and unassuming, she never sought the spotlight, yet her calm presence and warmth were felt by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
A celebration of Janette’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers please offer donations in care of the Alberta Cross Cancer Institute.
