Jack Andrew Gill

January 21, 1952 – November 24, 2025

It is with bittersweet emotions that we announce the passing of Jack Andrew Gill of Bonnyville, AB on November 24, 2025 at the age of 73.  Jack is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Nadine, children Will (Sylvia), Clint (Natasha), Nicole, Sharadie (Mark) and Ruth.  He is survived as well by brothers Rick (Joyce) and Allen (Michelle).  Jack was known as “Papa” to his nine grandchildren, Geoffrey (Mikayla), Church, Katelynn (Ryan), Rachel, Charlie (Tharon), Jay, Andrew, Levi and Matt.  Uncle Jack had many nieces and nephews and was “uncle” to many many others.  Jack was predeceased by his parents Art and Olive Gill. 

Jack spent 50 years in logging and mining before retiring.  Jack coached minor hockey and ball for 21 years and loved being outside and with his family and any other kids that might be in tow.  Countless weekends were spent fishing, camping, hunting and skiing.  Time with family was the priority for Jack and it shows in the example he was for his own family and many others.  He will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Kettle Wildlife Association in Rock Creek BC.
