Hector Joseph Dumonceaux

In the early hours of April 9, 2026 Hector passed away peacefully at the age of 78. 

He leaves behind his wife Joan; step children Juanita (Isaac) Dyck and Trevor (Trish) Kosinski; 4 step grandchildren Kolten, Emily, Kyle and Cody; sister Edna (Bill) Stefanik and brother Marcel (Marie) Dumonceaux; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and 11 siblings. 

Hector was a hard working man who loved his children and grandchildren. His work included AGT/Telus. After retirement he worked at the CRE in Camrose. He always made himself available to help anyone who needed help. After suffering a severe stroke in 2013 his health gradually deteriorated putting him in long term care at Louise Jensen Care Centre in 2023.

He will be deeply missed by many people.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
