Eldon Hoflin

Eldon Arthur Hoflin was born August 4, 1951 in Tofield, Alberta. He passed away on May 19, 2026, in Tofield, Alberta at the age of 74.

He is survived by his sons Darren (Shannon), Trevor (Adele), and daughter Valerie (John) Rickett; his grandchildren Samantha (Jay), Justin (McKenna), Rachel (Joel), Ericka (Kohen),Tamara (Joseph), Carter, Claire (Kevin), Eveline and Caleb; sisters-in-law Ellen Hoflin and Christy Ferguson and brother-in-law Floyd (Anne) Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years, Ethel; his parents Arthur and Gea Hoflin; his siblings Lorene, Sonny, Rod, and Dorothy.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at The House Ministries Church (5830-51 St.) in Tofield. Interment will take place at the Kingman Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Lung Association or the charity of one's choice, or the Lung Transplant Program at UAH @ Dr. Dale Lien.   8440-112st  CSB 3-114.  Edmonton, AB  T6G 2B7. He will deposit that money into their lung transplant fund. They use it for people who cannot afford their microspirometer or they have helped people with grocery cards in the past or taxi vouchers etc.
