EDWARD ELDON LUCAS

April 19, 1948 – June 17, 2025

It is with great sorrow that we advise that Edward passed away on June 17, 2025. He is survived by his wife Eileen and his sisters Sharon and Margaret as well as several nieces and nephews.

Edward was born in Stettler, Alberta where he grew up and graduated from high school. He enrolled in an accounting course at the University of Alberta. He worked for several accounting firms for 25 years. When he moved to Lamon County he worked at Elk Island Park looking after the buffalo.

Edward enjoyed motorcycling and his horses. He had a 4 year battle with dementia. There will be no formal funeral.

Please keep him in your prayers. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Ponoka Centennial Centre for Mental Health for the wonderful care they gave him during his illness.
