Dale Robert Jobb of Camrose, Alberta was born on January 18, 1956 at Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. He passed away on November 12, 2022 in Camrose at the age of 66 years.
He is survived by his brother Lawrance Jobb (Linda) of Ft. Saskatchewan, sister Regina Olson of Burlington Washington, brother Darrell Jobb of Parksville BC, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as numerous extended family members, Aunt Dorthy Blieler, Uncle George Jobb (Pat), and many cousins, as well as second and third cousins.
Dale had a big heart and usually exhibited a sunny, positive outlook despite his numerous health issues. His occupation as a mechanic offered many opportunities to offer assistance to friends and family who were grateful for his expertise. There are only a few places that Dale called home. His early life was spent in Lloydminster followed by a move to Edmonton. From there the family lived briefly to Vegreville followed by a stint in Drayton Valley. Camrose is where Dale got his mechanics training. After serving his apprenticeship, he returned to Drayton Valley until a rare auto-immune disease, Sarcoidosis, interrupted his career. Dale has resided in Camrose for the last 13 years. Nephews remember him for trips to get chocolate dipped cones and for letting them keep the change they found when cleaning his car.
Dale's family offers gratitude and appreciation for Dale's caregivers and medical professionals for their dedication to his health and well-being and to his friends for their care, laughter and kindness.
Cremation has taken place and a private family and friends graveside service will take place.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Sarcoidosis Organization.
