Carol Barr of Bittern Lake passed away on March 28, 2026 at the age of 80. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Malcolm and their children Dwayne (Jenny) and Christine; three grandchildren Hayden, Riley and Lowyn; sisters Margaret and Marion (Brian) and her brother Gordon (Marisol).

A genuine, warm and loving person, Carol dedicated 49 years to supporting others as a Registered Nurse in both a hospital and home care setting in Edmonton and Camrose. She had a love of riding horses, tending to her flower beds, travelling, photography and in retirement discovered a hidden talent for painting.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at 1:00 PM at the City Lights Church, 4920-48 St. in Camrose, Alberta. Rev. Helen Reed of Camrose United Church will be presiding.
