Aron Peters passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 89 in Two Hills, Alberta.

Aron Peters was the oldest son of Peter and Katharina Peters. He was born on September 21, 1936, on the family farm near Hepburn, Saskatchewan.

Aron wore many hats in his life. He was a farmer, logger, car salesman, mechanic, drywaller, meat packer, cabinet maker, home builder and service manager. He worked in Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Japan. But his greatest pride was his family. He was a strong dedicated man whose love for his wife, family and God was always evident. He will be missed for his silly puns, his mischievous grin, his willingness to lend a hand with any project, his love for horses, his awesome hugs and so much more.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Kathy, his children; Bryon (Tammy), Brenda, Lorne, Cheryl (Ken) and Kathleen (Kelly).  His grandchildren; Christopher, Claira (Seth), Justin (Alisha), Lauren, Daniel (Catherine), Matthew (Janet), Cole, Ryan (Tyawna), Dylan (Mandy), Briar (Tiana), Kirstyn, Scott (Alexandra), and Kaleb (Karinne) as well as his great-grandchildren; Ashe, Elyas and Charlie.  He is also survived by his siblings; Chris, Mary, Irvin (Anne), Bill (Gloria), Liz (Henry), George (Helen), Ed (Eve), Abe (Marge), Anne (Bill), Eva,  Corny (Laurie) and sister-in-law Ann.

He is predeceased by his parents and two stepmothers, several infant siblings, and siblings Helen (Abe), Marge (Jake), John, Fred, brothers-in-law Jake, Bill, and daughter-in-law Cindy. 

A service will be held at 2 p.m. on December 6, 2025, at the Tofield Alliance Church (5907-49 St.) in Tofield, Alberta.  Click here for a livestream of the service.
