Arlene Cecille Quesnel
January 21, 1942 - March 23, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arlene Quesnel. Arlene passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
She was a beloved sister to her brother Ken and sister-in-law Sharon, a devoted mother to her children Melina and Sean, a caring mother-in-law to Cal and Nicole, a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren Shannon, Evan, Zachary, and Aidan, a great-grandmother to Cayleb and Eli, and a loving wife to Russ whom she made her home in Alberta.
Her love of history and the past led her to a lifelong passion for antiques and collectibles. She had an exceptional eye for finding beautiful and unique items, from vintage perfume bottles to rare dolls and wartime collectables. Arlene shared this passion and vast knowledge with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating future generations of collectors.
Arlene touched many lives with her kindness and generosity. She had a way of making everyone feel special, whether through a simple compliment, a thoughtful gesture, or a helping hand when someone was in need; her love knew no bounds. Arlene was cherished not only for her kind and caring heart but also for her impeccable style and vibrant, spunky personality. Her energy and lively spirit shone through in everything she did.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will continue through the memories she created and the love she shared.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life in Ontario at the Mark residence on Sunday, April 6th from 1 pm - 4 pm.
