Anne was the third youngest of eight children. Anne had fond memories of time spent with her siblings along the banks of the Oldman River. Anne was devoted to God and loved her family. She spent many years volunteering in her church community.
In 1999, they sold the farm and moved to Tofield, AB. After Gerhard passed away in 2019, Anne moved to the Louise Jensen Care Centre in Camrose, AB for her remaining days.
